They are made out of 1/2" MDF. Someone posted their setup awhile back on the white board and they used them too. He also posted the drawing for cutting them out.

Basically, each step/riser is 3" wide, cut to length. Then you cut the sides the dimensions you want with 3" steps/risers. The 3" height helps those 'leaning' figures, lol.
